Education Community on Coronary Heart Disease Treatment
CAMP was developed by physicians in order to respond to a growing crisis in coronary artery disease and heart failure, as well as to the need for continuous improvement in coronary heart disease treatment, techniques and tools for PCI treatment and the management of acute heart failure.
CAMP (Coronary Artery & Myocardial Protected) community platform is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and quality of life with supported high-risk PCI treatment, coronary artery disease treatment and heart failure management by utilizing best practices, techniques and technologies to enable safer, more effective and complete revascularization.
The diagnosis and optimization of patients in need of coronary heart disease treatment or high-risk PCI remains an urgent need. Patients often have less than optimal results due to lack of awareness of proper treatment strategies. CAMP offers access to advanced training and material focusing on Impella®, the world’s smallest heart pump, to optimize patient outcomes. MCS (mechanical circulatory support) systems – like Impella® heart pumps – have been classified by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) in their latest guidelines as level IIa ("should be considered") for short-term use in the management of acute heart failure.

Why CAMP?
CAMP offers the industry‘s most comprehensive and highest quality physician education and training program for high-risk PCI treatment and advanced coronary artery disease patients. It comprises a series of educational courses both digital and instructor led that are provided by Abiomed. There are no registration fees for the courses.
